Read Immigration and Usurpation

This is a really interesting perspective on the current debate surrounding the latest illegal immigraion amnesty that the folks in DC are trying to foist upon us. Bottom line: Pols (of both parties) want a more malleable electorate. It is long but worth it.

I've actually done a lot of stuff here that didn't show up on this page, but I figured I'd make note of two things that came online in the past few days.

First, the court of appeals for the District of Columbia made a really important ruling the other day concerning the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution. Some might say it's a landmark decision. I certainly would, and would urge you to take the time to read it. The first bit is kinda dry, in that it largely concerns the "standing" of the folks bringing forth the appeal. The meat of the decision is a scholarly treatise on the history and meaning of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms. The ruling was published as a PDF file, but I converted it to HTML for posting here.

Second, I added a new page about inflation to my National Debt section of my site. Much coolness there.
